1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before?
Got engaged! Got a 5.9 A1C Result! Ran my fastest Half Marathon race ever!
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Not really into resolutions, I never keep them and find they dont last long!
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? No but Megan is pregnant and due in 2010!
4. Did anyone close to you die? Yes. Papa John.
5. What countries did you visit? Just the USA.
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009? More enjoyment in my job.
7. What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? November 14, 2009, day we got engaged!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? The PR time in the half marathon was pretty great!
9. What was your biggest failure? Not keeping my blood sugars in line when we are not at home in Bethesda! they get too out of control when we travel!
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? A few colds, nothing big!
11. What was the best thing you bought? I got some good gifts, but the best thing I bought for myself was my orange winter coat that I love!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Cant think of anyone in particular.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Tiger Woods, John Edwards, Balloon Boy Parents and the Ft Hood killer.
14. Where did most of your money go? Rent and credit card payments
15. What did you get really excited about? Wedding in 2010

– happier or sadder? Happier, I think.
– thinner or fatter? Thinner, a little.
– richer or poorer? About the same, poor. haha.
18. What do you wish you’d done more of? Had people over the apartment for dinners!
19. What do you wish you’d done less of? Eating things I knew would screw me up later.
20. How did you spend Christmas? In Erie and in Warren.
21. Did you fall in love in 2009? I think it was just more established after being engaged.
22. What was your favorite TV program? Flash Forward, The Office, Modern Family, How I Met Your Mother, Community, 24, and NCIS.
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? Not really!
24. What was the best book you read? I never read books!
25. What was your greatest musical discovery? Vampire Weekend.
26. What did you want and get? A healthier 2009 and it was that.
27. What did you want and not get? To get a new job or move closer to Erie.
28. What was your favorite film of this year? Hangover was pretty hilarious.
29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 27 and I had a typical birthday week, nicely capped by a Steelers Super Bowl Win!
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Shorter Commute!
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009? Jeans on Wknds and Work clothes all the time, mostly skirts!
32. What kept you sane? Running.
33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? I still find ARod to be the most desirable, no matter how many steroids he uses.
34. What political issue stirred you the most? The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
35. Who did you miss? My family I dont see enough!
36. Who was the best new person you met? Nathan's girlfriend Laura.
